Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Remote eDiscovery Attorney for a well known law firm.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dynamic and busy law practice!


Tis role is fulltime and remote at the law firm.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drafting/reviewing/responding to discovery documents
  • Manage deadlines and workflow for complex matters
  • Index, file, and maintain documents within iManage and SharePoint document libraries
  • Draft, review, and finalize written discovery requests and responses (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission)
  • Upload and manage data in eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull)
  • Remain up to date with federal and state rules and procedures
  • Manage deposition preparation
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw or similar platforms
  • Compile research findings into concise summaries or reports
  • Provide recommendations to the case teams and clients on discovery process improvements and opportunities to leverage advanced technologies for spend and risk reductions.
  • Provide training on the technical and practical knowledge of the firm’s litigation based applications and best practices.
  • Advise case teams on document preservation and collection obligations and strategies in accordance with Firm and industry best practices.
  • Draft Litigation Hold Notices.
  • Conduct document collection scoping interviews with clients.
  • Interface with vendors and client IT departments to facilitate document collections.
  • Develop and advise case teams on strategies for culling collected data for review in accordance with Firm and industry best practices.
  • Craft, revise, and test search terms for data culling and/or for document review.
  • Advise case teams on conducting and implementing efficient and effective document reviews in accordance with Firm and industry best practices.
  • Set up and implement QC searches and protocols.
  • Train and supervise contract attorney review teams.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admission to NY bar
  • 3+ years of eDiscovery experience is required
  • At least 3 years of experience handling data in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Logikcull, or similar tools
