EDITOR HEAD ( DIGITAL MEDIA )

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Editorial Strategy & Leadership

○ Develop and execute the digital and social media strategy aligned with the newspaper’s editorial mission and business goals.

○ Lead innovation in digital storytelling, multimedia formats, and audience engagement.

2. Content & Social Media Management:

○ Responsible Supervise creation, curation, and editing of digital-first content (articles, videos, podcasts, infographics).

○ Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all digital platforms.

○ Ensure fast, accurate, and SEO-optimized publishing.

3. Social Media Leadership

○ Develop platform-wise strategies (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).

○ Drive follower growth, engagement rate,. Look after daily posting schedules. Manage social media campaigns and paid promotions.

4. Audience Growth & Analytics

○ Responsible for growth of readership through social media campaigns, newsletters, and interactive formats.

○ Monitor audience behavior and feedback. Build community engagement through comments, live sessions, and digital events

5. Digital Optimization.

○ Implement SEO best practices to maximize visibility of content..

○ Stay updated with emerging digital trends, tools, and technologies.

○ Safeguard the newspaper’s credibility and voice across digital platforms

6. Team Management.

○ Coordinate with print editors, reporters, and marketing teams for integrated coverage.

○ Lead and mentor digital journalists, social media managers, and multimedia producers

○ Assign tasks, review outputs, and ensure deadlines are met.

7. Brand & Reputation Management.

○ Safeguard and strengthen the newspaper’s brand identity, credibility, and editorial voice across all digital platforms

○ Monitor online conversations, comments, and public sentiment regarding the publication.

○ Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual standards across website, mobile apps, and social media channels.

○ Oversee fact-checking processes and corrections policy in the digital ecosystem

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
