Role Overview

Seeking an Editorial & Content Communications Associate to shape YouTube’s voice in real-time political and cultural conversations. This role combines editorial writing, multimedia storytelling, and rapid-response social media engagement to deliver impactful, data-driven communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit speeches, articles, and blogs; conduct stakeholder interviews to capture stories.
• Develop engaging multimedia (video, graphics, social content) in line with brand voice.
• Track online political/cultural trends and deliver proactive & reactive content.
• Partner with internal teams and external creative agencies for high-quality output.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide insights for future strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years in digital marketing, social media, or communications.
• Experience with political campaigns/public policy initiatives.
• Strong skills in social media strategy, trend analysis, and rapid-response content.

Preferred Skills

• Content strategy & editorial expertise.
• Graphic design & video production experience.
• Stakeholder management & audience development.
• Knowledge of industry trends and online discourse.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
