Editorial Content Moderator – Fashion & Lifestyle (StylePulse Pakistan)

Job Summary

StylePulse Pakistan is looking for an Editorial Content Moderator to review, validate, and approve fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and entertainment content before publication. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion trends, excellent communication skills, editorial judgment, and a keen eye for detail.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all content is accurate, engaging, brand-safe, visually aligned with current trends, and meets StylePulse Pakistan's editorial standards. Acting as the final quality checkpoint, you will help maintain the credibility, style, and consistency of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Content Review & Validation

• Review articles, fashion features, trend reports, beauty content, celebrity style stories, and lifestyle articles before publication.
• Evaluate content for accuracy, relevance, originality, and audience appeal.
• Identify and correct factual errors, misleading information, and inconsistencies.
• Ensure all content is publication-ready and aligned with StylePulse Pakistan's editorial guidelines.

Editorial Quality Assurance

• Review articles for grammar, spelling, tone, structure, readability, and overall content quality.
• Improve headlines, summaries, captions, and article flow where necessary.
• Ensure content maintains a consistent voice, style, and brand identity.
• Verify that fashion terminology, brand names, designer references, and product information are accurate.

Fashion & Trend Monitoring

• Stay updated on local and international fashion trends, beauty developments, celebrity fashion, luxury brands, and emerging lifestyle topics.
• Assess whether content reflects current market trends and audience interests.
• Identify outdated, irrelevant, or repetitive content before publication.

Visual & Brand Quality Control

• Review images, graphics, captions, and visual assets associated with articles.
• Ensure visual content is appropriate, high quality, correctly attributed, and aligned with the article theme.
• Verify consistency in styling, branding, and presentation across the platform.

Publishing Oversight

• Approve, reject, or request revisions for content based on quality standards.
• Ensure content is free from offensive material, misleading claims, or brand-damaging information.
• Maintain consistency across all published content categories.

Feedback & Workflow Improvement

• Document recurring content issues and provide feedback to editorial teams.
• Help improve workflows, and content-generation systems to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of editorial benchmarks for fashion journalism.

Compliance & Editorial Integrity

• Ensure content complies with copyright, advertising, disclosure, and editorial guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of credibility, transparency, and responsible digital publishing.
• Review sponsored, branded, and affiliate content to ensure proper disclosures and editorial consistency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, fashion Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in fashion journalism, content moderation, copy editing, digital publishing, social media, or lifestyle media.
• Strong understanding of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and entertainment industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and content verification abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and editorial judgment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced digital publishing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a fashion magazine, digital publication, lifestyle platform, or media organization.
• Familiarity with fashion brands, designers, beauty products, and industry trends.
• Experience reviewing digital editorial workflows.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, social media tools, and digital publishing systems.
