Job Summary

We’re looking for a full-time Education and Events Coordinator who has a passion for serving the trans and gender-diverse community, who is knowledgeable about healthcare education, has experience with or an aptitude for conducting outreach and coordinating events, and can work well with students, teachers, educational institutions and programs, and community members and partners broadly. We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented, strategic thinker with a community-centered approach, who will provide exceptional customer service. This role will report to our Medical and Clinical Education Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor incoming emails and answer or forward as necessary
  • Maintain administrative lists and systems, and triage educational needs as necessary
  • Work with nursing, PA, and medical health education schools and training programs to coordinate educational placements
  • Organize documentation necessary for clinical placements
  • Ensure students have a point of contact for educational needs
  • Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists and contact lists
  • Ensure all students and trainees complete associated pre and post documentation
  • Faxing, scanning, and copying of documents
  • Maintain files in a shared Google Drive
  • Type documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Coordinate and organize appointments and meetings independently
  • Assist in the coordination of the Medical Director’s calendar
  • Assist in developing and keeping educational slide decks and materials up to date
  • Co-present and facilitate on educational topics as needed
  • Develop, plan, coordinate, implement, and attend events
  • Maintain strong inter-departmental relationships and communication
  • Provide outreach and events support to the Education, Development and Communications, and Community Support and Engagement departments
  • Monitor, order, and maintain supplies needed for events
  • Perform work-related errands, including offsite, as needed
  • Maintain an organized and clean working environment
  • Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or education
  • A minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced and rapidly changing healthcare services environment, or adjacent field
  • Experience working with transgender and gender-diverse communities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills, including advanced understanding of basic office applications and Google Workplace
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to think quickly and strategically
  • Reliable and hard-working
  • Experience with or an aptitude for conducting outreach and events coordination
  • Willingness to champion the values of Transhealth

Working Conditions

  • Requires occasional work hours on weekends or evenings for events
  • Hybrid role with occasional travel across the state for events or program coordination; reliable transportation is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,656.00 - $61,009.00 per year
