Education Counselor

• Student Guidance:
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students.
• Help students identify their strengths, weaknesses, interests, and abilities through assessments and interviews.
• Assist students in setting realistic academic and career goals.
• Academic & Career Planning:
• Provide information and guidance on course selection, career paths, and continuing education options.
• Help students prepare for college admissions and entrance examinations.
• Organize workshops on study skills, career readiness, and college applications.
• Support and Resources:
• Develop and implement academic and personal support programs, such as tutoring and mentoring.
• Provide information on resources and refer students to external organizations or professionals when needed.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to identify and address learning or behavioral issues.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain confidential records of student assessments, session notes, and academic progress.

Qualifications

• Education:A Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is typically required.
• Experience:Proven experience in an academic advising or counseling role is beneficial.
• Skills:
• Interpersonal & Communication: Strong abilities to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Empathy: The capacity to understand students' needs and concerns.
• Analytical: Skills to interpret assessments and analyze student behaviors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
