Educational Consultant or Teacher

Location: Irvine, CA (In-Person)

Children's Ages: 6 and 8 years old

Position Overview

We are seeking a high energy, responsible, caring, and proactive  Educational Consultant  to support our two children in their daily routines. It combines educational guidance, school communication to ensure the children’s academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

Educational Guidance & School Communication

Act as a liaison between parents and teachers, supporting smooth communication.

Monitor and follow up on children’s schoolwork, assignments, and learning progress.

Provide guidance, and study supervision at home.

Give feedback and suggestions on learning strategies and areas for improvement.

Activity & Development Support

Communicate with teachers about progress and goals.

Help children stay organized (school bags, materials, preparation for lessons).

Encourage children to develop time management and responsibility skills.

Provide regular updates to parents about learning, activities, and overall development.

Qualifications

Experience with children (teaching, tutoring, nannying, coaching, or related roles preferred).

Valid driver’s license and reliable car.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Patient, reliable, and proactive in both educational and caregiving settings.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate:  $30–45/hour  depending on experience and background.

Option to structure as a weekly/monthly salary if preferred.
