Provide educational coaching and support to licensed family-based childcare providers across Queens on play-based, NYCPS-aligned curriculum for children from infancy to age 5.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coach up to 17 affiliated providers twice monthly on mixed-age curriculum implementation

Guide providers on evidence-based, developmentally appropriate practices

Assist with child observation data entry and use for lesson planning

Document coaching sessions per NYCPS's Early Childhood Framework for Quality (EFQ)

Coordinate and facilitate monthly professional learning/development sessions

Collaborate with the Education Director, Family Support, and Health Monitors

Maintain community partner relationships (mental health, special needs services)
- Attend weekly team meetings and NYCPS trainings

BA/BS in Early Childhood, Infant/Toddler Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services

Experience teaching or working with children under age 5

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Zoom

Reliable remote work setup (consistent WiFi, private space)

Able to efficiently travel within Queens for on-site provider visits

Strong time management, multitasking, and teamwork skills

Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse provider/family backgrounds

Ability to pass a PETS Clearance

Master’s degree in Early Childhood, Infant/Toddler Studies, Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services

Bilingual: English/Spanish (verbal, reading, and written)

Experience in center-based, family-based childcare, or other appliable early education settings
