Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EEC Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants and toddlers, incorporating best practices in early intervention, literacy education, and childhood development
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth and physical well-being
- Manage daily classroom activities including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and physical education activities
- Use effective behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, developmental milestones, and any special needs or interventions required
- Maintain accurate records of child development assessments, attendance, and individualized plans in compliance with licensing standards
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations related to childcare and daycare environments
Experience
- Valid EEC (Early Education and Care) certification specific to infant/toddler care is required
- Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare or preschool programs
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management for infants and toddlers
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, colleagues, and community partners
