The Worcester JCC Early Childhood Center is excited to expand our program and is seeking two caring, enthusiastic Infant Toddler Teachers to join our team. We’re preparing to open a brand-new classroom and are looking for dedicated educators to help bring it to life!

Toddlers are busy explorers, and we’re looking for someone who can guide their growth with patience, playfulness, and a love for hands-on learning.

Your Role

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers
• Support social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning
• Guide children through routines like meals, naps, and transitions
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity
• Observe and document children’s growth to share with families
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety (including lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Partner with families and collaborate with colleagues
• Attend and complete professional development, including CPR/First Aid

What You Bring

• EEC Toddler Certification (Required)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred

(or enrollment in an ECE program)

• Patience, creativity, and a team-oriented mindset
• Enthusiasm for child-led, play-based learning approaches

Additional Info

• Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting
