We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technician to join our medical team. The EEG Technician will be responsible for performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) to monitor and record electrical activity in patients' brains. This role requires a strong understanding of neurological function, an ability to work with various medical equipment, and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform EEG Procedures:

· Prepare and position patients for EEG testing by applying electrodes and ensuring proper setup of the equipment.

· Monitor and record brain activity during EEG tests.

· Provide clear instructions to patients and ensure their comfort during the procedure.

Equipment Setup and Maintenance:

· Set up, calibrate, and maintain EEG equipment to ensure optimal performance.

· Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during EEG recordings.

Data Analysis:

· Review and analyze EEG results to identify abnormal brain activity.

· Work with neurologists or physicians to interpret findings and provide assistance in diagnosing neurological disorders.

Patient Interaction:

· Ensure a calm and professional atmosphere for patients undergoing EEG testing.

· Explain the procedure to patients and answer any questions they may have.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Document patient information and the details of the EEG procedure.

· Prepare detailed reports for physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Patient Safety:

· Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards while interacting with patients and handling medical equipment.

· Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Collaboration:

· Work closely with medical staff, including neurologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
