EFDA Dental Assistant

## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with procedures, perform administrative tasks, and ensure excellent patient care. Most have 3-5 years in general dentistry .

## Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records using Digital software
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during procedures
- Handle medical documentation and maintain medical records
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed

## Requirements
- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Proficiency in X-Ray and medical imaging techniques
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft, Epic, or similar dental software
- Knowledge of pediatric dental procedures is a plus
- Understanding of infection control procedures in a dental setting
- Strong grasp of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.76 - $25.00 per hour
