Summary:
Utilize Electronic Health Record (HER) system to write reports to pull data for the purpose of submitting grant applications, state and federal reporting, and analyzing trends in care. Assist in planning, installation, and implementation of EHR development and upgrade projects. Support and assist with problem resolution as it relates to the EHR product and end users.
Duties:
- Data capture and report through the writing and development of ad-hoc reports from the EHR using the prescribed reporting software.
- Knowledgeable in data and reporting manipulation through Excel, as well as the ability to use other components of the Microsoft Suite.
- Assisting with the training of all employees on data capture to satisfy grant requirements of the CCBHC care delivery model.
- Shares in System Administration for the EHR System.
- Participates in EHR design and build sessions, tests the application, and documents the findings.
- Maintains the EHR issues database/helpdesk.
- Assist in conducting user workflow analysis to determine possible improvements in the use of existing software systems or the possible additions/changes to the systems.
- Develops and delivers training documentation and instruction for end users.
- Assist in the development of forms and applications needed for the EHR. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mission-critical system's functionality and utilization improvement. Performs special projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess an HIM, MIS, or Business-Related Degree or other related advanced training with in-depth knowledge of report writing.
Desired Qualifications:
- One (1) year experience working in a customer service healthcare setting and/or working within an EHR system.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Suite, software and hardware support with troubleshooting skills and diagnostic abilities.
- A strong customer focus and constant drive to improve the support experience and training for our employees.
- Initiative and a willingness to learn new skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
