Description:

Within the framework of the agency’s mission, policies, procedures, and resources, the EHR Systems Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, optimization, and support of the organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, MyEvolv. This role serves as a key liaison between clinical and operational stakeholders and the EHR vendor to ensure the system effectively supports clinical care delivery and business operations.

In addition to ongoing system administration, this position will play an active role in the implementation of MyEvolv, including system build, testing, validation, training readiness, and go-live support. The EHR Systems Analyst will participate with data conversion, data cleansing, and validation activities in collaboration with the EHR vendor and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and successful adoption. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, data security standards, and organizational best practices while proactively supporting continuous system improvement and user adoption.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience administering or supporting a configurable SaaS-based platform
  • Strong understanding of configurable system workflows, security roles, permissions, and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into system configurations or reporting solutions.
  • Experience with system testing, validation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting a SaaS-based EHR behavioral health platform.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
  • Project management, business analysis, and/or end-user training experience.
  • Basic working knowledge of JavaScript for form logic, data validation, reporting enhancements, or light customization within EHR or web-based applications.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Southfield, MI 48075

Requirements:
  • Administer and maintain user roles, permissions, and access controls within the EHR system.
  • Configure and maintain system settings, including workflows, templates, and pick lists, based on organizational and clinical needs.
  • Create, modify, and maintain clinical and operational reports and dashboards, including the use of SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements; translate requirements into system configurations, enhancements, or reporting solutions.
  • Assist with the implementation of MyEvolv, including system configuration, testing, validation, training support, and go-live preparation.
  • Design and execute test plans and test cases; validate system changes, upgrades, and new releases to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with business needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users, stakeholders, and the EHR vendor for issue resolution, system enhancements, and support requests.
  • Assist with data conversion, data cleansing, and validation activities, including reviewing migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and usability.
  • Partner with internal teams and the EHR vendor to identify data quality issues and support remediation efforts before and after go-live.
  • Document and communicate system updates, changes, and best practices; provide end-user training and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data security standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve system usability, workflow efficiency, data quality, and end-user satisfaction.
