Education & Relevant Experience:
Graduation in Engineering (Preferably in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical) with 2-4 years of experience
Knowledge:
-
Certification in NEBOSH IGC
-
Certification in ISO 45001, 14001
-
Adequate knowledge of firefighting and high-risk activities e.g.,
-
machine safety, construction, work at height

Adequate Knowledge of International Standards (NFPA, OSHA or
-
equivalent, IOSH)

Adequate Knowledge of Legal requirements

Adequate Knowledge of applicable Local Laws of EHS
Job Description:
-
Conducts / updates periodic risk assessment of all relevant areas and task / Job based risk assessment of individual high-risk project / activities e.g., crane activity.

Communicates accurately the roles and responsibilities of individuals in case of emergency situations

Conducts monthly / quarterly firefighting drills / training for security guards of the organization for training and practical purposes

Ensures periodic inspection, testing, monitoring and rectification of EHS equipment e.g., fire extinguishers, hose reels, fire hydrant system

Participates in internal audit program as a internal auditor and participate in preparation of external audit

Conducts and ensures 100% delivery of EHS induction training to all new third-party workers including weekly institutional visits
-
Designs and delivers EHS trainings for line management e.g., firefighting, machine safety
-
Coordinates with Manager EHS to ensure EHS visibility signs are present / updated in required areas
