- Develop, implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures and manuals in line with UAE legislation, JAFZA regulations and international standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Conduct regular risk assessments, job safety analyses and environmental impact assessments.
- Ensure all statutory permits, approvals and inspections (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, MOCCAE, JAFZA, etc.) are obtained and up to date.
- Plan and deliver EHS training and awareness programs for all employees and contractors.
- Lead incident/accident investigations, prepare reports, recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Monitor compliance of contractors and subcontractors with company and regulatory EHS requirements.
- Maintain records of incidents, inspections, audits, and safety statistics; submit required reports to authorities.
- Coordinate emergency response planning, drills and first aid programs.
- Promote a proactive EHS culture across all departments and project sites.
- Liaise with government agencies and regulatory authorities on all EHS matters.
- Continuously improve the company’s EHS performance and drive sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
- Recognized EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor).
- Minimum 2 -5 years’ experience in EHS management within the UAE/GCC.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE EHS regulations, JAFZA compliance, Dubai Municipality codes.
- Strong leadership, communication and training skills.
