E&I Supervisor

Basic Function:

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee production activities of E&I related projects, ensuring high productivity, quality, and safety standards. This includes leading and mentoring E&I and assembly teams, managing projects, and maintaining compliance with technical and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance and instructions for daily activities. They assign tasks, set goals, and ensure work is completed on time and to the required standards. Oversee the assembly and installation of electrical and instrumentation systems. This includes pumps, motor control boxes, control panels, motors, sensors, transmitters, and other equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues. This involves analyzing complex systems, identifying faults, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Ensure that all electrical and instrumentation work is performed in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. They conduct safety audits, implement safety procedures, and promote a culture of safety among the team.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute E&I projects. This includes determining resource requirements, coordinating schedules, and managing budgets to ensure successful project completion.
• Able to inspect and test equipment including but not limited to pumps, motor control boxes, control panels, motors, sensors, transmitters, and other equipment.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Guide and train E&I/Assembly personnel.
• Productivity Optimization: Enhance productivity and performance.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Communication: Clearly communicate job expectations and performance requirements.
• Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce production, safety, and quality policies.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all packages meet specified requirements before inspection.
• Coordination: Liaise with production and quality teams.
• Supervision: Monitor and supervise the assembly/testing process and personnel.
• Troubleshooting: Address problems and equipment malfunctions.
• Documentation: Prepare required progress/assembly reports and records.
• Reporting: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Equipment Setup: Supervise the setup and operation of pumping, electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Inspection Coordination: Arrange for inspection and take ownership of RFI requests based on project schedule/ITP while liaising with QC team for timely inspection completions.
• Package Testing: Lead internal and external witness testing of related E&I packages. Including but not limited to Chemical Injection Skids, Separator and Metering Skids
• Site Assistance: Lead and support on site related activities including feasibility studies, site surveys, SATs and commissioning assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
