ELA ACT/SAT Tutor

We are a quickly growing tutoring company based in Niceville, FL focused on tutoring local students, in person, from Kindergarten to 12th grade. We offer general education subjects, ESE support, and college entrance test prep. Tutoring is done in person and typically at the local library, but sessions can also be held at a private home at the tutor’s discretion. We are looking for candidates who are skilled, upbeat, and ready for a challenge to meet each child where they are on their academic journey.

We are seeking to add an ELA SAT/ ACT prep tutor. This is not someone who can achieve a high score, but, more importantly, explain the content well to students. Preference is given to an individual who has taught this material before. Must be very strong in math.

Training is provided for the right person

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 instruction to students.
• Manage Scheduling with families
• Maintain a Google calendar
• Manage any needed preparation for session

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certificate or relevant tutoring experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
