ELA Teacher (1099 Contractor)
Location: Apache Junction, AZ 85130
Compensation: $45–$55 per hour

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ELA Teacher to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to helping students succeed in reading, writing, and critical thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts lessons aligned with curriculum standards

• Support students in developing reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills

• Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve performance

• Collaborate with staff and administration to support a positive learning environment

• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate (ELA endorsement preferred)

• Previous teaching experience in middle or high school ELA

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively as an independent contractor
