Now Hiring Tutors – Flexible In-Home & Virtual Sessions

I have a client located in Arlington, MA. They are looking for ELA tutoring focused on preparing SSAT mainly and general essay/writing reviews for school. It would be a full hour session once a week. They’re availability is Mondays anytime after 4pm or weekends (preferably Sunday mornings)

This is a flexible, part-time, contract position where you control your availability, tutor as much or as little as you’d like, and receive same-day payments.

Subjects We’re Hiring For

We are looking for tutors in one or more of the following areas:

Math: Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics

English / Language Arts: Reading, Writing, Grammar, Essay Writing, Literature

Science: Elementary Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science

Social Studies: History, Geography, Civics, Government

Test Prep: SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT (preferred but optional)

Special Education / Learning Support: IEP support, executive functioning, study skills

Art & Drawing: Foundations, creative development, portfolio support

Homework Help & Academic Coaching

Bonus: Foreign languages or additional specialties

Responsibilities

Provide 1-on-1 in-home or virtual tutoring

Support students from elementary through advanced levels

Create customized learning plans based on student needs and goals

Assist with homework, test prep, skill building, and confidence development

Communicate progress clearly with families

Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating learning environment

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year tutoring or teaching experience

Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Education or related subject preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable working with diverse learners and learning styles

Reliable transportation for in-home sessions (if applicable)

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Ability to pass a criminal background check

Experience with special education, executive functioning, or test prep is a plus

Pay

$40 per hour

Many families book multiple sessions per week or multiple children
