Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for ELA and Math courses
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies and learning technology to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active engagement among students
• Provide individualized tutoring and mentoring to support students’ academic growth and confidence
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and productive learning space
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and educational best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or related field.
• Proven classroom experience with diverse student populations; charter school experience is a plus
• Expertise in instructional design, lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment strategies
• Familiarity with learning technology tools and research laboratory practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively and provide constructive feedback
• Experience in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and special education accommodations
• Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team while demonstrating leadership qualities in mentoring students

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
