We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various software tools and programming languages. The Electrical Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project specifications and timelines.

Duties

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical designs.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation for creating detailed engineering drawings.
  • Implement signal processing techniques for effective data analysis.
  • Collaborate on project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
  • Develop firmware for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other embedded systems.
  • Perform testing and validation of electrical components using tools such as oscilloscopes and ohmmeters.
  • Engage in system design activities for SoC (System on Chip) applications.
  • Apply knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards in all designs.
  • Participate in the manufacturing process by providing support for surface mount technology (SMT) assembly.
  • Use simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and SystemVerilog for modeling complex systems.
  • Engage in debugging processes to enhance system performance.
  • Work with quantum engineering concepts where applicable.

Skills

  • Proficiency in FPGA design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of C++, Python, Perl, and scripting languages for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks for mechanical design integration.
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering principles to collaborate effectively with mechanical teams.
  • Experience with Arduino platforms for prototyping solutions.
  • Knowledge of vision inspection systems for quality control processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions in electrical engineering applications.
