Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electric Motor Winder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, rewinding, and maintaining electric motors used across various industrial and commercial applications. Your expertise will ensure motors operate efficiently, reliably, and safely, contributing to the overall success of our service operations. Duties
- Rewind and repair electric motors, generators, and related electrical equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Disassemble motors carefully, inspect components for wear or damage, and replace or repair parts as needed
- Experience with all the other types of AC and DC winding and troubleshooting capabilities are strong assets .
- Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and welding techniques to perform precise repairs
- Interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Conduct testing of rewound motors to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards
- Perform heavy lifting of motor components and assist with equipment repair projects as required
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, work performed, and parts used for quality control and reporting purposes
Skills
- Proven experience in electrical repair, motor winding, or related mechanical work within a dealership or service technician environment
- Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and automotive repair principles
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, generator maintenance, welding, soldering, and heavy lifting techniques
- Must have a working knowledge of tape measures, gauges, micrometers and torque wrenches.
- Ability to work independently, holding close tolerances.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in vehicle maintenance and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments efficiently

Pay: $24.80 - $29.87 per hour
