MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct site walks and inspections to identify and rectify poor quality or non-conforming work.
2. Enforce safety plans outlining the scope and mandated requirements while operating on the site.
3. Teach or facilitate training in various areas that are required for each project.
4. Review submittals and verify materials are installed in accordance with approved submittals
5. Be able to research, interpret, and implement various regulations and requirements.
6. Create and execute a Project Quality Control Plan
7. Lead 3 phase quality meetings
8. Record and log testing and inspections done on site
9. Provide guidance for all mechanical elements on site.
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Must be able to work with government and non-government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a quality environment without limiting the trades ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management to include Owners, PM’s, Superintendents, and Corporate Safety.
