Electric Vehicle Engineer

Job Description:

Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer / Electric Vehicle Technician to completely calculate and design the wiring, integration, and testing of electric vehicle motor (PMSM BLDC) and EV battery systems.

Solid understanding of high-voltage systems (120V DC), motor control interfaces, and basic PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design and assembly. Involves practical wiring work for production, schematic interpretation, and collaboration with the mechanical and controls teams for electric drivetrain.

Tasks:

•Wire up and integrate PMSM motors, EV batteries, and motor controllers/inverters according to system schematics.

•Wire up for mass production.

•Do the layout and connection of power, signal, and sensor wiring harnesses.

•Ability to use debugging tools like oscilloscope, can analysers.

•Do bench and vehicle-level testing of motor and battery systems.

•Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and datasheets.

•Design small PCB for custom functions.

•Maintain documents for wiring setups, test results, and system changes.

•Adhere to all safety procedures for handling high-voltage EV systems.

•Routine maintenance of battery and motor, motor controller in inventory.

Education:

•Bachelor's in electrical engineering or any related field.

•Two years of experience in the field.

•Fluent in English.
