Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in electrical systems within construction and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the electrical trade. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing a career in electrical work, with exposure to both low and high voltage systems, blueprint reading, and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced electricians with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites and industrial facilities
• Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support installation projects
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various tasks
• Support the testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety compliance
• Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision, including low voltage and high voltage systems
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction site work, including adherence to NEC standards and proper handling of electrical components

Experience

• Prior experience with residential, industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical equipment such as ohmmeters is advantageous
• Construction site experience or background in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, or low/high voltage systems is preferred
• Knowledge of NEC standards and safety procedures related to electrical work is beneficial
• Strong interest in learning the electrical trade with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
