Electrical Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems at various job sites. This position requires regular travel to different locations, sometimes for extended periods. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
• Identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions
• Communicate with supervisors, clients, and team members regarding project progress
• Travel to job sites as required (local, regional, or out-of-state)
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good condition
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately

Qualifications:

• Valid electrician license or certification (as required by state/local regulations)
• Proven experience as an electrician
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in various environments
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions

Travel Requirements:

• Frequent travel required; overnight stays may be necessary
• Travel expenses provided or reimbursed per company policy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Commercial electrician: 1 year (Preferred)
