Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice in the third year of your apprenticeship! You will assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across residential homes, construction sites and operational facilities. Duties
- Assist with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment following blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various electrical tasks on construction sites and operational facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support installation and troubleshooting efforts
- Conduct low voltage and high voltage system testing using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure proper operation
- Support the setup of low voltage systems including security alarms, communication lines, and control panels
- Collaborate with senior electricians on framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations within construction projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completing the third year of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Proven industrial electrician experience or commercial electrician experience is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters
- Familiarity with NEC standards, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage systems
- Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work safely in active environments
- Knowledge of frame carpentry related to electrical installations is a plus
- Strong understanding of electrical theory including low voltage and high voltage systems
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team

Pay: $26.85 - $30.68 per hour
