Duties

• Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial settings using hand tools and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup
• Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and verify circuit integrity
• Work on low voltage and high voltage systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance
• Support construction activities by framing carpentry and ensuring proper installation of electrical components within building structures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while learning best practices from experienced electricians

Requirements

• Prior experience or training in residential or commercial electrical work is highly desirable
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and construction site procedures
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
• Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards
• Experience with testing devices such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical circuits
• Strong commitment to safety protocols on construction sites and during electrical installations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in electrical systems and construction processes
