Electrical Assembly Wirer

Overtime: Onsite assembly and In House assembly allows for a lot of overtime being available to enhance advertised salary.

ROLE : This role would suit someone who is at trade college or is learning the electrical trade. Could also suit someone looking for an apprenticeship. This role consists of point to point wiring rather than wiring up panels.

JOB PURPOSE: To work as part of a dedicated team to build large mechanical/electrical systems and equipment from detailed engineering drawings into state-of-the-art automated Shellroom systems to our worldwide customer base. Position will be primarily based in Solon, Ohio with travel throughout North America with an emphasis on the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Reporting to Operations Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Construction of electrical systems and equipment following engineering drawings.
• Running wire, conduit, cable tray, terminating wires
• Fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical equipment
• Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.
• To be able to prioritize and work to given timescales.
• Ability and desire to travel worldwide. (Travel outside North America rarely.)
• Installation of systems and equipment at customer locations across America.
• Operate within company procedures.
• To ensure quality standards are met

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Demonstrated experience of electrical and mechanical equipment assembly including wiring.
• Fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical and mechanical equipment, both as part of a team or individually.
• Have sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or industrial automation industry.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
