Electrical AutoCAD Draughtsman

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Services LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical shop drawings in compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings including lighting, power, small power, ELV, earthing, and lightning protection systems using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate electrical layouts with architectural, structural, HVAC, and plumbing drawings.
• Develop plans, single-line diagrams (SLD), sections, details, and schedules as required.
• Incorporate consultant, client, and authority comments into revised drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE local authority standards (DEWA/SEWA/ADDC as applicable) and project specifications.
• Support site teams with drawing clarifications, revisions, and as-built drawings.
• Maintain proper drawing documentation, revisions, and version control.
• Assist in load schedules and quantity take-offs if required.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of UAE experience as an Electrical AutoCAD Draughtsman.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, symbols, and installation practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD. (Revit knowledge is an added advantage)
• Ability to read and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Familiar with electrical shop drawing standards and coordination practices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
