Electrical AutoCAD Draughtsman

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC is urgently looking for a skilled Electrical AutoCAD Draughtsman with strong UAE experience to join our team. If you have solid experience in electrical drafting and enjoy working in a fast-paced project environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD based on design and project requirements
• Draft layouts for power, lighting, cable routing, containment, earthing, and lightning protection systems
• Develop single-line diagrams (SLD), load schedules, panel schedules, and schematic drawings
• Coordinate electrical drawings with MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, design changes, and site conditions
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority standards (DEWA, Dubai Municipality)
• Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, naming conventions, and documentation
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and submission packages
• Support project teams during coordination and submission stages

Requirements

• 3–5 years of UAE experience as an Electrical AutoCAD Draughtsman
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Good understanding of electrical systems (power, lighting, cable routing, basic ELV)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and SLDs
• Familiarity with UAE standards and authority requirements
• Experience in commercial or high-rise projects preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Must be currently in the UAE and available for immediate joining
