Job Summary

The Electrical / Automation Engineer will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, automation equipment, PLCs, and control networks across the steel factory. The role ensures smooth operation of production equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of automation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults in PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation systems.
• Monitor and optimize automation processes to improve production efficiency.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical/automation equipment.
• Maintain detailed documentation, logs, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with production, mechanical, and maintenance teams to resolve electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in steel plants, heavy industry, or automated production lines.
• Hands-on experience with PLC (Siemens/AB/Schneider), SCADA systems, sensors, and drives.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation, control circuits, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work under pressure during breakdowns and shutdowns.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
