Electrical BIM Modeler

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC is urgently looking for a skilled Electrical BIM Modeler with strong UAE experience to join our growing team. If you’re experienced in Revit MEP and thrive in a coordinated BIM environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed Electrical BIM models using Revit (MEP)
• Model systems including power distribution, lighting, cable trays, containment, earthing, and lightning protection
• Produce LOD 300–400 models with accurate routing and technical detailing
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and structural teams
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve coordination issues
• Generate shop drawings, SLDs, schedules, and quantity take-offs
• Update models based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant feedback
• Ensure compliance with UAE standards (DEWA, Dubai Municipality) and BIM Execution Plans
• Support coordination meetings and technical submissions
• Prepare as-built BIM models

Requirements

• 3–5 years of UAE experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP)
• Working knowledge of Navisworks
• Solid understanding of electrical systems (power, lighting, cable routing, basic ELV)
• Familiar with BIM standards, LOD, and clash detection workflows
• Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs
• Experience in commercial or high-rise projects is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Must be currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining
