Electrical BIM Modeler (ELV)

Role: Electrical BIM Modeler – ELV
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 4 to 10 Years
Sector: ELV / MEP BIM

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage ELV BIM models including Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Data & Voice, PA System, BMS, and Security Systems.
• Prepare LOD 300–500 BIM models as per project requirements.
• Generate shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings from BIM models.
• Perform clash detection and coordination with other MEP and structural disciplines using Navisworks.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and local codes.
• Collaborate with design engineers, site teams, and consultants to resolve design and coordination issues.
• Maintain BIM standards, workflows, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support quantity take-offs and BOQs from BIM models when required.

Required Skills & Software:

• Strong experience in ELV systems modeling.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage for coordination.
• Good understanding of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans (BEP) and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of local authority norms and international standards is an advantage.
