Job Title: Electrical Chargehand

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Chargehand to supervise and coordinate electrical works on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians and helpers on-site
• Plan daily electrical activities and allocate tasks efficiently
• Ensure all work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Inspect electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues quickly
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain site safety and ensure compliance with regulations
• Prepare daily progress reports and updates

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum [5+] years of experience in electrical work, including supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installation practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction or industrial projects
• Valid electrical license
• First Aid / Safety certifications
