Electrical, Communication Network, and Telemetry CAD Draftsman

Our client, a globally recognized leader in industrial automation, electrification, and digitalization solutions, is looking to hire qualified professionals for the role of Electrical, Communication Network, and Telemetry CAD Draftsman on a long-term contractual basis.

• Position: Electrical, Communication Network, and Telemetry CAD Draftsman
• Location: Kuwait
• Working Days: 6 days per week
• Working Hours: 8 hours per day
• Contract Duration: 24 months (extendable)
• Salary: To be discussed

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and telemetry drawings for RTUs, PLCs, sensors, instrumentation, and control panels
• Develop power distribution diagrams, including solar, battery, and backup power systems for remote sites
• Create communication network drawings for SCADA systems, control rooms, racks, cabinets, and connectivity layouts
• Update drawings based on design changes, redlines, and as-built information
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions
• Assist with Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure accurate design integration
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical, Automation, Telecommunications, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, telemetry systems, and industrial instrumentation
• Exposure to utilities, oil & gas, smart city, or industrial projects preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and low-voltage systems
• Basic understanding of communication networks (fiber, Ethernet, wireless)
• Familiarity with SCADA and telemetry protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 104 – advantage)
• Proficient in MS Office

Soft Skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Working Conditions

• Office-based role with occasional site visits
