Job Title: Electrical Construction Estimator
Location: Detroit, MI 48226
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $65.00/hr.

Key Highlights:

• We are looking for a highly experienced Electrical Construction Estimator with a strong background in utility and large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in multi-million dollar project estimating, particularly within electric utility, renewable energy, and electrical systems (OH/UG).
• A strong preference is given to candidates with an Electrical Engineering background or Master Electrician (Journeyman) certification and proven ability to analyze costs, validate contractor bids, and support project execution strategies.

Focus on:

• Focus on electric utility & large construction projects
• Must have 5+ years of estimating experience (utilities preferred)
• Experience with multi-million dollar project estimates is mandatory
• Exposure to solar/renewables projects is a strong plus
• Hybrid role (local candidates preferred; Midwest candidates considered)

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience (utilities preferred)
• Strong experience with:
• Electrical systems (underground & overhead)
• Transformers, inverters, and grid infrastructure
• Experience handling large-scale / multi-million dollar estimates
• Background as:
• Electrical Engineer OR
• Electrical Master Journeyman
• Strong proficiency in Excel and estimating tools

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
