Associate’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of appropriate experience working with standard electrical test instruments. or HVAC systems. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Relevant experience may substitute for required education.

The department is especially interested in candidates who have a license related to Electrical and HVAC fields.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday
7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and service several Lighting BMS using applications, and software-based service tools. Handle low voltage control systems operating at 0-10VDC / AC and 0-20ma. Assist other electrical and HVAC trade members campus wide.
Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and install Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s) and Motor Control Starters. Utilize electrical testing equipment (megger) for motor testing and other various electrical meters.

Coordinate installation & replacement of actuators for valve & damper control operation including various voltages AC / DC .

Maintain knowledge of graphics building and equipment programing for several HVAC BMS. Assist with ensuring sequence of operations for HVAC equipment.

Install, retrofit, expand, and replace complete controls systems in new and maintain existing construction.

Maintain security and access privileges to computer accessible BMS.

Estimate materials required for electrical controls work and keeps items stocked. Notify supervisor of needs.
