Chesapeake Controls a commercial HVAC building & automation controls company is seeking an entry level Electrical Controls Technician This position will work on a team as a commercial low-voltage rough-in installer working on projects in and around Hampton Roads.

Key Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Basic Low Voltage Installation experience, primarily less than 24 vac / 24 VDC; to a lesser extent 120 VAC for panel power
- Install conduit (all types)
- Pull and terminate wires to controllers, components, and devices using wiring diagrams, and installation instructions
- Install electrical wiring between controls and equipment according to wiring diagram; experience with push-up ceilings, hard lid ceilings, fire demising walls, floor to floor
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Familiar with standard design symbols common to the industry
- Understand, and work from floor plans, blueprints, specifications, and schematics
- Tools and techniques of the trade
- Able to lift 50lbs and climb ladders.
