Electrical Design and Estimation Engineer

KEPL EPC INFRA , a Professional Electrical Contracting Company, has executed several E.H.V and M.V / L.V installations for a wide spectrum of industries for more than two decades. We are super "A" Grade licensed Electrical contractor (ESA 542) issued by the Electrical Licensing Board of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Roles and Responsibilities: An Electrical Design and Estimation Engineer designs electrical systems, produces technical documents and schematics, and prepares detailed cost estimates for projects. Key responsibilities include analyzing project specifications, using CAD software to create layouts and schematics, selecting components, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with various teams like sales, procurement, and production to provide technical and cost input for project proposals.

Design Responsibilities

• System Design: Design and develop electrical systems and components based on project specifications and customer requirements.
• Documentation: Create technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and engineering reports using CAD software like AutoCAD or EPLAN.
• Component Selection: Source and select appropriate electrical components, switchgear, and Panels (e.g., PLC, VFD) from various manufacturers.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements to ensure system integrity and optimize design.
• Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.

Estimation Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials and labor, for electrical projects.
• Bill of Materials (BOM): Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials for projects.
• Bid Preparation: Assist in generating proposals and costings to support the sales team.
• Budgeting: Contribute to project budgeting and scheduling.
