Electrical Design and Supervision Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design and Supervision Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising electrical systems for high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. This role requires expertise in electrical design, site supervision, and compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design:

 ✅ Develop electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems.

 ✅ Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing.

 ✅ Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and detailed technical drawings.

 ✅ Ensure designs comply with DEWA, ADDC, NEC, IEC, BS, and other relevant standards.

✅ Collaborate with mechanical and plumbing teams for seamless MEP integration.

Site Supervision & Execution:

 ✅ Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.

 ✅ Coordinate with contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure high-quality installation.

 ✅ Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.

 ✅ Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations.

 ✅ Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.

Coordination & Reporting:

 ✅ Work closely with clients, architects, and MEP teams to achieve project objectives.

 ✅ Attend design review meetings and site progress discussions.

 ✅ Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, and compliance documents.

Job Requirements:

 🔹 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

 🔹 Experience: Minimum 7 years in MEP Design & Supervision, with Dubai/UAE project experience.

 🔹 Certifications: DEWA/ADDC/DM accreditation is an advantage.

 🔹 Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of DEWA, ADDC, Dubai Civil Defense (DCD), and other UAE authority approvals.

 🔹 Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors effectively.

 🔹 Valid UAE Driving License is a plus.
