Electrical Design Engineer

Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and detailed technical drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with DEWA, ADDC, NEC, IEC, BS, and other relevant standards.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, and other design software for electrical analysis.
• Collaborate with mechanical and plumbing teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with clients, architects, and MEP teams to achieve project objectives.
• Attend design review meetings.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, and compliance documents.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in MEP consultancy, with Abu Dhabi/UAE project experience.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, and MS Office.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of DEWA, ADDC, and other UAE authority approvals.
• Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
