Electrical Design Engineer

Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, KSA.

Responsibilities:

• Design LV electrical systems for buildings (lighting, power distribution, small power, earthing, lightning protection, etc.).
• Prepare single-line diagrams, load schedules, panel schedules, cable sizing, and technical calculations.
• Develop electrical design drawings, specifications, and BOQs for tender and construction.
• Coordinate electrical design with architectural, structural, mechanical, ICT, and low current systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, codes, and local authority requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs from contractors to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, workshops, and value engineering sessions.
• Provide technical support to site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning (if required).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–8 years of experience in building services electrical design.
• Proficient in electrical design software and tools (e.g. Dialux / Relux, ETAP or similar is a plus).
• Good knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC, NEC, BS) and local authority regulations.
• Experience in preparing design packages, technical reports, and tender documentation.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
