Electrical Design Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesI. Power System Drafting

• Design Layouts: Produce detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings for custom Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and Distribution Boards.
• Schematic Creation: Generate clear and accurate three-line and single-line diagrams (SLDs) for power circuits, including busbar layouts, protective device specifications, and metering configurations.
• Bill of Materials (BOM): Create precise BOMs for power components and structural materials based on finalized drawings.

II. Control System Drafting

• Control Panel Layouts: Develop fabrication drawings for Explosion Proof and Standard Control Panels, detailing component placement (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, relays, terminals) and internal wiring pathways.
• Wiring Diagrams: Produce comprehensive schematic and wiring diagrams for control circuits, clearly defining wire numbers, terminal blocks, interlocks, and I/O assignments for PLC systems.
• P&ID Interpretation: Translate information from Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and control narratives into electrical control schematics.

III. Documentation & Standards

• Compliance: Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards (IEC, NEMA, UL) and internal quality specifications.
• Revision Control: Manage and maintain a formal drawing revision and release process, coordinating updates with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD Electrical, or similar CAD software, to maximize efficiency and drawing accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Eplan: 3 years (Preferred)
• Electrical Switchgear: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electrical Automation: 1 year (Preferred)
