Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with UAE project experience to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects in compliance with UAE authority regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, earthing, and lightning protection
• Develop single line diagrams, load schedules, layouts, and technical specifications
• Perform electrical calculations including load, voltage drop, short circuit, and lighting calculations
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements (DEWA / ADDC / SEWA / FEWA, Civil Defense, SIRA)
• Coordinate with MEP teams, architects, consultants, and contractors
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to RFIs
• Support authority submissions and approvals
• Provide technical support during construction stage and site coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3–7 years of electrical design experience, with minimum 3 years in UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP is an advantage)
• Experience with design software such as ETAP / Dialux / HAP (preferred)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with authority approval processes
• Immediate availability or short notice period

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
