Electrical Engineer Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, review, coordination, and approval of electrical systems for infrastructure and building projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires strong technical expertise, compliance with local regulations, and experience in authority approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with Abu Dhabi (AUH) regulations, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, consultants, and contractors to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Manage and support the electrical approval process with relevant Abu Dhabi authorities.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to electrical works.
• Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections and resolution of design issues.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance throughout project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in the same position within a related industry.
• Proven design and design review experience in electrical engineering works.
• Strong understanding of AUH regulations and authority requirements.
• Experience with approval processes for electrical systems in Abu Dhabi.

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze, review, and optimize electrical designs.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering design software.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
