Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Ras Al Khaimah. The candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and implementing electrical systems for engineering or construction projects while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop electrical design drawings, layouts, and schematics.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection.
• Review electrical shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with UAE authority regulations and safety standards.
• Support site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for project progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Electrical design software.
• Knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and electrical standards.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Experience in construction / MEP projects in UAE.
• Knowledge of local authority approvals (FEWA / DEWA).
