Electrical Design Engineer/ ETAP Engineer

Experience Required:

Qualifications :- BTECH/B.E Electrical engineering

1–2 years of experience in electrical design engineering within the UAE.

Hands-on experience with ETAP software for power system studies (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Relay Coordination, etc.).

Familiarity with UAE local authority standards (DEWA, FEWA, ADDC, etc...)

Experience in preparing electrical drawings, single line diagrams, load schedules, and cable sizing calculations.

Knowledge of MEP coordination and LV/MV panel design is an advantage.

Key Skills:

Proficiency in ETAP and AutoCAD (or similar CAD tools).

Basic understanding of electrical design standards (IEC, IEEE).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities:

Perform electrical load calculations and design documentation.

Prepare SLDs, control diagrams, and schematics as per project requirements.

Conduct ETAP analysis for load flow, fault level, and protection coordination.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for technical requirements.

Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations and project specifications.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Certification in ETAP is preferred but not mandatory.
