Electrical Design Engineer (MEP)

Location

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5–8 years’ experience in MEP design consultancy
• Proficient in AutoCAD, HAP, and Revit
• Experience with Navisworks is an advantage
• SOE membership is preferred
• DM approval is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design drawings in coordination with architectural, structural, and ID teams
• Perform load calculations and support project planning
• Ensure compliance with DEWA, DCD, NFPA, Dubai Municipality, and relevant codes
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects effectively

Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience in electrical system design and implementation
• Proven track record across Commercial, Residential, F&B, and Retail projects
• Skilled in design coordination and project execution
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
